East Midlands Pilgrimages is pleased to announce its programme of Quiet Days for
2014, all to be held at the Community of the Holy Cross, Costock. The day allows all
'pilgrims' the chance to reconnect, in the silence of God, with aspects of the
Christian faith at important, and penitential, times of the year.
Our Quiet Days include Mass and Liturgy of the Hours, a number of devotional
addresses, silence, reflection, the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation (if requested) and a group lunch.
Each quiet day can accommodate a maximum number of 20 people, therefore early
booking is advised. Places on each quiet day are secured by payment of £7.50 pp
which includes all liturgical and spiritual literature used throughout the day, a thank
offering to the Community of the Holy Cross for their hospitality as well as a hearty
buffet lunch.
