t takes more than a little inclement weather to put a damper on the fantastic time had by all the Eagle Lake families and friends at this year’s amazing Poker Run event! From Elvis to Halloween goblins, surfers and Chicago sports teams, to Ole Blue Eyes himself, a terrific time was had by all. We wish to thank the many volunteers who helped to make this year’s event such fun and so successful—we really appreciate all your hard work and effort. The band Party Mouth did a great job rocking the lake and were really troopers when the weather started looking dicey. Also thanks to Service Printers of Elkhart for their help with all our printing needs. Thanks to the card stuffers: Beth Swift, Carol Bailin, Alison Bailin Batz, Erica Bailin, and Ellie Hawes. A big thank you to Don and Charmayne Daly of Eagle Lake Marine for their help and assistance with ticket sales and to the ladies who sold poker tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets at Eagle Lake Marine the morning of the event: Beth Swift, Cathy Snow, Brigid Forlenza, Libby Decker and Cheryl Kramer.
