The Struggles Seniors of Enfield High School Face

ENFIELD— For seniors at Enfield High School, the final year is a blend of excitement and challenge, especially with graduation coming around the corner. This leads to a wide range of options for seniors to explore, such as college, gap years, and trade school. Many Enfield High seniors, like Ethan and Leani, are currently deciding their post-graduation paths.
Managing money, balancing schoolwork, and preparing for life after graduation are just a few of the challenges they face.
One senior, Ethan, shared that what he has learned from school is that“ talking to people is one of life’ s most important skills.” This highlights how communication becomes essential as students begin applying for jobs, planning careers, and navigating adult responsibilities.
Similarly, Leani started working during her senior year to prepare for what comes next, such as getting a car and paying bills. She is also applying to colleges on top of all her responsibilities.
