ENFIELD — The 2023 Enfield Eagles baseball team made it to the second round of the state tournament , playing West Haven in a 10-7 loss in 9 innings . The Eagles lost five seniors this past season but with a lot of returning players , the Eagles look to make it further this upcoming season . The loss was a crushing defeat for the Eagles , who had a 3-run lead in the fifth inning . The loss fueled motivation for the Eagles off-season .
