Rossignol is the 1of 23 girls on the basketball team , and the only to be going play division 1 . She also a part of the 1.2 % of girls who go division 1 . The Enfield girls ’ basketball team went 22-2 getting a CCC East title and just feel short of a championship win in 2021-22 .
“ It ’ s a job not a hobby .” Rossignol explains on her sacrifices taken with pursing a basketball career . The 5 ’ 11 guard who is All Conference and has All State Honors committed to Niagara University who is third in their MAC Conference .
Rossignol started on just a mere Saint Bernards team in elementary school to the Connecticut Attack Travel team ran by Ulysses Garcia . Missing normal t e e n a g e t h i n g s w a s s o m e t h i n g Rosssignol had to overcome .
“ I struggled in the middle of my recruitment process .” Rossignol said .“ I gave up homecoming , I gave up hangouts .” Rossignol said . She did this with no sorrow . She knew what her potential was and reached for it . It was definitely worth the sacrifices .

Rossignol has become a fan favorite and Enfield celebrity that all the little Enfield Rec girls look up to now . Having the stands packed every game and hitting many goals during the games . She scored her 1,000th career point in the third game of the season .
Her family has been her rock throughout her entire career . Mom ( Sarah ), dad ( Brian ), sister ( Adriana ), and grandparents ( Poppy and Gram ). Pushing her to be the best basketball player and giving her support and opportunities . When asked if this has ever put a strain on her family Rossignol answered “ It has only made us stronger .”
Rossignol is a leader on the court who has good sportsman ’ s ship throughout her high school career . Rossignol will leave a mark on Enfield and will always be a role model of how hard work , sacrifice , and determination brings successes .
