You! Hey!
Between work and the B-17 visit, my dad is pretty overwhelmed right now. So he told me to start writing up a series of articles about my latest air-craft experiments. It’ s going to take a month or two to get it all out in these newsletters. First, what I have in mind is kind of complicated for a young dog to think through. Second, I’ ll need some time to build the devices I need to test my theories. Not to mention the testing program. And finally, I’ ve been a little under the weather recently. About a week ago, we got in the car, and I was certain I heard dad and mom talking about taking me to get“ tutored.” I figured that had something to do with helping me bone up a bit on my 3D modeling skills. But the next thing I know, I’ m waking up all groggy, with some serious pain in some unmentionable areas. Not sure what kind of“ tutoring” I got, but I sure don’ t feel any smarter.
Anyway, here’ s what I’ ve been up to. I’ ve been reading back issues of Sport Aviation, and there’ s a lot of talk in some of them about a prize for figuring out how to prevent loss of control accidents. Now, I know a thing or two about loss of control. And accidents. In fact, I got in some pretty big trouble last month over losing control on the silk rug in the dining room. Not pretty.
