A-shaped Steel Main Pylon
215 metrů vysoké hlavní pylony mostu jsou ocelobetonové spřažené kontrukce, jejichž spodní část
je tvořena železobetonovými komorovými sloupy,
středové a horní části tvořící tvar písmene A jsou
ocelové komorové sloupy.
The 215-m-high main pylons of the bridge are of
steel-concrete composite structure with their
lower part made of reinforced concrete (RC) box
columns and their A-shaped middle and top parts,
steel box columns. The key technical problems in
design, manufacture and erection of curved steel
pylon for major bridges had been successfully
solved. A through study on the design of the
curved steel pylon, the wind resistant
performance study of steel pylon and the loadtransfer
mechanism
of
steel-concrete
combination segment of pylon were conducted.
Researches on the load-transfer mechanism of the
steel-concrete combination segment of pylon
have, for the first time in similar type of projects,
been carried out with prototype and scale model
tests. It is indicated in the test results that PBL
shear connectors used have the obvious
advantages of high load-bearing capacity, high
linear stiffness and good ductility in failure
process, and their fabrication quality can be easily
ensured. F
