Quelques informations pratiques Trafika This does not mean, contrary to what one might think "traffic" but instead have small Croatian grocery stores that you find everywhere. You can buy newspapers and magazines (mostly in Croatian), cigarettes, drinks ... but be careful, if they are not mini-market. Cigarette prices Concerning the cigarette prices, you can bought them in trafika, the gas stations, coffee shops, and at any time of night or day, the price will remain the same. Tax administration is very strict about this. The euro in Croatia The Croatian currency is the kuna, and all prices are in kuna. To have an idea, the change is approximately: 1 € = 7.5 kuna. Of course, this rate is random, but still in the same order, some near Lipa (Lipa is the Croatian cent). For the changes, you can do it in banks (during opening hours) or exchange bureaus "mjenjacnica" which have the advantage of being open later and to be numerous in Split (1 almost all 300m). Transports in Split There is no tramway and no metro in Split, only bus; and that everyone uses, which allows you to all areas of Split, or buses and minibus that allow you in cities around.
