Nutrition is very important for everybody to maintain their body healthy.
Body requires some nutrients for survival. It also help to prevent some
diseases, or anything bad that could happen in your body. There are three main
types of nutrients that give energy to our body and they are: Carbohydrates,
Fats and Proteins. Vitamin, minerals and water are also very important for life.
Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are one of the main type of nutrients. They are the most
important source of energy to our body, since they provide us quick energy.
When the carbohydrates get to your digestive system, the carbohydrates
change into glucose, which will provide sugar to your blood. It is important to
have carbohydrates since the sugar blood that is being produced by the
digestive system will give energy to all the cells in your body. That is why
carbohydrates are the most important type of nutrients for our body. Without
them, we wouldn't have energy.
Fats
Every type of food that we eat will give us nutrients and energy for our body.
The food that we eat will always fall into three major groups: carbohydrates,
proteins and fat. Every type of food gives you a different type of nutrient, that is
why people should eat a few amount of different things. Fats its being used by
our body as a fuel source, since fat is the major storage of energy in the human
body. There are also different type of fats: saturated, monounsaturated and
polyunsaturated. If a person eats too much fat, it can harm its health and make
him/her an unhealthy person.
