6 ‣ Cardiovascular Cardiovascular exercise, also called cardiorespiratory exercise, involves movement that gets your heart rate up to improve oxygen consumption by the body. ! ! Cardiovascular exercise has its benefits on the body, some of them are the following: • Improvement on muscular function and strength • improvement in the body’s abilities • reduction in body weight • reduction on blood pressure • reduction in bad cholesterol • increase in good cholesterol The cardiovascular exercise should be done for about 30 - 60 minutes of continuous exercise for at least 3 days per week. Either cardiovascular, resistance, or flexibility can be such great exercises for your body. There’s something called motivation, which is the main thing that you need for you to start exercising your body. This magazine wants to give you that. Motivation. Your body is screaming for attention, you just have to have a little will and propose yourself a goal, and that’s how your body will start listening to you, and it will thank you. You will feel much better if you do exercise as much as you can. Of course, don’t overheat yourself! It’s also not good if you do some resistance exercise for 8 hours straight, that is harmful for your health! Remember, everything is better if it’s moderated and with supervision of an expert.
