SURVIVAL OF THE FITT EST 2 . 0

I t was in 1869 when Darwinism first spoke about the concept of survival of the fittest . In present global competitive era if you want to be as fast and quick as rabbit its mandatory to be healthy and fit , physically , mentally and spiritually . Almost all fitness professionals talk about ; How you can keep yourself fit ? What to eat ? What not to eat ? What fitness plan you should follow and the list goes on . But the main question arises here , which is not answered by all is that How to start ? Because people know being healthy is good but when it comes to inculcate it in lifestyle people usually fails to do . I will just try to answer this question in few words to make your efforts easier to just give a kick towards fitness goals .

First and the foremost thing , which many of you will find weird but just give it a try and believe me it works . Just go and stand in front of a mirror in private without clothes , observe yourself for 10 to 15 mins and ask yourself , Am I doing justice with the most beautiful gift which god has provided me ? i . e . none other than you . The crux is first start loving yourself instead of falling for an opposite sex . 50 percent goal is achieved here itself . Now next what you have to do is to gamify your fitness goals . Put a fitbit on your wrist and start calculating the total steps in a day record it and try to beat that score next day . If you cannot buy it there are many apps available on playstore .
Now it ’ s time to hit the gym and beat some iron . Just devote 1 hour to yourself and feel the change . Believe me if you want a good physic , gym is compulsory because after a certain point of time our body stops responding to the workout plans which we follow more than a month and gym is the best place to cheat your mind give variation to our body and improvise . First thing first especially for beginners , do not take annual membership in any gym . Go for a month or take 2 to 3 months plan and make yourself comfortable with the place and feel the ambiance . Just like your orientation and induction period in any new organisation , observe people who are burning themselves to shine interact with them and ask them about transformations they felt after joining gym . After this make partner with whom you will be doing your workouts because gyming is a monotonous job and it ’ s difficult to continue it without a partner . Take a fitness test of yourself with the help of your coach and plan a workout schedule . Set daily targets and start working towards it with your partner to achieve it . After few weeks when you are fully comfortable with your new working environment start setting weekly goals than simultaneously monthly goals . Most important thing in any organisation is motivation therefore keep motivating yourself and your partner .
( make a good playlist of motivational songs ). Just continue this for 1 or 2 months , if you don ’ t feel like go to gym and lift weights just go and spend that one hour which you have decided to give yourself . Believe me after a point of time that feeling will vanish and you will be regular . So , friends the essence of the story is start making fitness a part of your life first and then make it heart of your life . Nutrition is the most important aspect of fitness . Its 70 % what you eat and 30 % what workout you are following . I will not say what to eat what not to eat because google have tonnes of information available . I will just say that eat healthy and stop treating your stomach as a junkyard by putting junk food in it . Look at our forefather generation which used to complete their age of 100 years , my own great grandfather died at the age of 104 years just because he used to eat healthy and now people are dying at the early age of 65 because of lack of nutrition .
In nutshell , I will say that you are the maker and breaker of your own personality . End of the day it ’ s you who decide the destiny of your own . If you have that much respect for the Prashadam that you get at any religious place than what about this Prashadam which god has given to you in form of yourself . At the end I will just say this one line in which I believe firmly is
