HISTORIC OCCASION AT THE DUTCH CLUB ABEL TASMAN
Sunday 15th was an historic day. After a few years of planning and having had umpteen meetings with the interested parties, the day had arrived when transfer of the title of our property was to take place. The hall was well set up for this unique occasion. In front of the stage the Abel Tasman committee was seated, facing the Abel Tasman members who were seated in rows of chairs on the dance-floor. Including the committee, there were 54 members present. As guests there was a table with Heritage Centre committee members on one side and a table with DutchCare Board members on the other side. The latter two, being the other parties involved in the transfer of title.
