10. Storeyteller

The storyteller builds both internal morale and external awareness through interesting narratives that communicate fundamental human values or reinforce specific cultural traits. The storyteller is often a consumer who has been drastically affected by a product or service. Storytellers have the ability to grasp a person’s attention and yield some type of influence on the audience. Many companies have high end executives serve as storytellers who relay their past experiences. They play the role of inspirational leaders within an organization who help motivate and influence their peers. For instance, Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs has given many inspirational speeches stemming from his past experiences and observations. He has been able to influence generations through his innovational products and services. The value of storytellers should never been underestimated.

9. Set Designer

The set designer creates a state on which innovation team members can do their best work, transforming physical environments into powerful tools to influence behavior and attitude. The designer is able to bring a level of energy through programs and activities. They are able to carefully craft a work environment that is essential to an innovative organization’s culture. By instituting a different environment into the workplace through innovation, companies are able to boost employee morale. Set designers serve a valuable purpose in the workplace as a coordinator and leader.

8. Experience Architect

The experience architect designs compelling experiences that go beyond mere functionality to connect at a deeper level with customer’s latent or expressed needs. They strive to provide the customer with more of an experience that is related to their product or service. The experience architect not only helps cater towards consumers, but employees within the organization as well. They excel through customer service while creating a memorable experience for their consumers. Value added incentives through customer service help create a memorable experience for their customers.

7. Director

The director gathers together a talented cast and crew but also helps to spark their creative talents. Directors are able to delegate responsibilities and manage deadlines in association with goals and objectives. The director is able to map out production while bringing out the best of the cast through motivation and critique. Directors give stage to others, love finding new projects, rise to meet tough challenges or obstacles, have high expectations, and have a large variety of tools at their disposal. Directors are often associated with higher level management and oversee the progress and objectives of their organization.

6. Caregiver

The caregiver builds on the metaphor of a health care professional to deliver customer care in a manner that goes beyond mere service. Caregivers are able to anticipate the needs and wants of the customers to go beyond and above what is expected. This can be a valuable attribute of an organization, as it helps build customer added value. For example, the Ritz-Carlton extends their level of service by providing breakfast to their guests. They have enthusiastic chiefs that give detailed descriptions of menu items and are able to answer questions. They are able to meet the individual needs of their customers through personal assessment and evaluation. Go beyond and above what is expected to leave a truly memorable experience with your target market.

5. Collaborator

Helps bring eclectic groups together and often leads from the middle of the pack to create new combinations and multidisciplinary solutions. Collaborators are able to bring together different point of views, as well as ideas and strategies. Organizations are able to collaborate and work together to achieve success within the workplace. Collaboration can include relationships in the form of contracts, agreements, partnerships, etc.
