It looks like our next season has arrived early, and what a great time to spring down
Spring Street! For those of you who have dogs or a business walking them, why
not switch it up to a dog jog!
!
Pick a short term goal. Say, from here to that trash can and dash or sprint with your
dog to that point. Walk a little, recover and next block pick another point to sprint to.
Repeat this 5, 6, 7, 10 times. Whatever your doggy walk distance, splash those in-
tervals in. It feels good to briefly go full out, and trust that your pet will love it too! If
running is not your thing, there are also many steep inclines to walk as you ascend
throughout the city. One route or course I like to take is heading West up 2nd, climb-
ing 2nd at Hill and traversing in and out of the financial district.
Then continuing through the 3 tiers of the Grand Park where there are lots of stairs
(2 at a time) and finish with the climb up the Disney concert hall stairs and cooling
down by strolling in the lovely garden at the top. All are dog friendly areas and
streets for keeping you, Fifi and Fido fit and free!
