Third year in a row the ADRIART.CE network brought to-
gether 35 students and 5 mentors in »Mapping the Local«
workshop the MKE/Intermedia (University of the Arts) in
Budapest, Hungary, between 11 and 17 November, 2018.
Students from over a dozen countries developed proj-
ects in realms of intermedia / new media / contemporary
art and performance that not only map the city, but also
seek to intervene critically into its many layers and tissues.
Simultaneously with the closing of the Budapest work-
shop, at Pixxelpoint festival in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) on
November 16 a performance by pETER Purg introduced
the workshop »Wandering Goricas« that took place the
next day. Lead by one of the mentors involved in all three
iterations of this year, this brief but intense derive involved
the festival audience and a small group of students from
the University of Nova Gorica School of Arts. See below
for more details on »Wandering Goricas« and find online
legacy material on Instagram at #mappinggg: www.ins-

After Nova Gorica, the process soon continued with a

in Belgrade, at the Faculty of Applied Arts (University of
Arts Belgrade) with a specific hashtag #mappingbel-
