in the form of a block seminar. In this instance the
programme was facilitated by a Special Course
grant by the Tempus Foundation in Budapest. It reit-
erated research on cities as cultural, social and eco-
nomic entities and the manner in which, globally,
cities have been transformed during the period from
the middle of the 20th century to the present. The
block seminar documented in the present book had
its particular focus on the diverse political and cultur-
al changes ofthe 1960s in which the summer of ’68
was specially highlighted. This topic was not only
picked up because of its 50th anniversary, but be-
cause of its relevance in terms of dissatisfaction and
disappointment of different generations as a conse-
quence of the political, economical and even cul-
tural controversies in our times. The programme in-
cluded student participants from the Hungarian
University of Fine Arts (MKE); Erasmus students en-
rolled at MKE as well as CEEPUS students from the
ADRIART.CE network (Jan Matejko' Academy of Fine
Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Intermedia, University of
Rijeka, Academy of Applied Arts, University of Nova
Gorica School of Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade,
Faculty of Applied Arts).
