There's no hope in exercising if you don't find some form of pleasure in it. The more you enjoy working out, the more likely you are to stick to it. Put on your favouite music to listen to or work out with a friend, no one said getting fit has to be an individual challenge!

If you don't acknowledge your measurements then how will you know you've reached your targets? If losing weight is what you're after, try not to weigh yourself but instead measure your problem areas. The likelihood is that if you're persistant with working out then you're likely to gain muscle strength and so your weight may not change that much, but you measurements will.

Don't avoid mirrors during the course of your workout programme. It's healthy to study your body so you can see what exercises are working for you and what aren't. When you begin to feel saitisfied with the results, show it off! Wear clothes which show off your achievements, you're bound to receive compliments and this will make you want to continue your hard-work!

Avoid sticking to the same workout programme for long periods of time, try switching work outs or intensities to keep shocking your body and put it under more strain to adapt to its new demands.

Here are some of my top tips on how to stay motivated to get fit.
