Kimye: The family
of fashion
Everyone knows that the Kardashian-West clan are at the forefront of the fashion industry right now. So much so that they have been crowned 'The family of fashion'.
André Leon Talley, editor-at-large for VOGUE magazine announced that he believes the family should be crowned the title having admired their developing style as a power couple.
The arrival of baby North, who is now one, has only strenghened the family's scene in the fashion industry. North is reguarly seen dressing in matching outfits as her parents, whether it's a 'Yeezus' jumper to match her daddy, or a cuture Givenchy bridesmaid gown to match her mother, North is what's united the family's fashion together.
Before landing her VOGUE wedding cover, Kim was reguarly criticized for her poor dress sense and taste in clothing. Throughout her pregnancy she was slammed on numerous occasions for wearing particular outfits, especially a floral gown she wore on the red carpet of the Met Ball 2013, one of the biggest fashion events of the year. The reality star was unfortuante enough to have to change outfits at the last moment as she couldn't fit into her desired dress.
When Kim, Kanye, North and Kris were seen at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year the reaction was huge as no one expected to see little Nori sitting front row! The little Kardashian-West was seen sitting on her mummy's lap as the Givenchy show took place.
Ralph Lauren has previously explained his admiration for Mr West as he said "Kanye knows quality". It's pretty obvious that he certainly has a good eye for fsahion and some have often wondered if he takes control of all Kim's looks. Although Kim does seem to have a very good wardobe!
Supermodel Kate Moss has opened-up on her feelings towards Kim, saying "Kim is one of my favorite people" which is quite a compliment coming from Kate herself.
With their huge impact on the fashion industry already it comes as no surprise that some may see them as family of fashion. I would be shocked if North doesn't grow up in her parents foot-steps, that's for sure. ▪
