1. How does this assignment fit
into your States common core
curriculum standards?
We combined science,
math & visual art together
for a cross-curriculum
project. NSSS standards
are used throughout our
art class, whatever the art
assignment may be.
The students were
enthusiastic to do a project
that was related to NASA
and space exploration. We
loved the challenges
presented by the Dream
Rocket Project.
3. Do you see any room for
improvement?
-More information up-
front;
studying, exploring and
visiting Mars;
3. Use unfamiliar and
challenging art materials
to produce finished,
permanent works.
