2. Discuss how Edison and his life and

would focus on improving inventions

that he believed would make money

and how he developed entire systems,

not just parts.

3. Review how the Industrial Revolution

changed how many products were

created, often making them cheaper/

more affordable but also taking jobs

away from skilled craftsmen. It also

opened the way to many new

inventions.

4. After watching videos and having

discussions. Students will list on paper

all of the inventions room by room that

they can think of that they have in

their homes and then they will divide

them into helpful technology and

entertaining technology using

worksheets from Thomas Edison’s

Inventions in the 1900s and Today:
