Lacking motivation?

People asked me all the time how do I stay motivated. They think just because I compete in Spartan Races that I don't ever struggle with motivation. Some days are worse than others for me, but I too have that challenge. I came from being overweight and in the process lost any little bit of fitness I had previously worked so hard to achieve. I had to start small and build a base before I could commit to a routine. This took me well over a year before I started, but I knew I had to find my why. Why am I doing this? I didn't like who I was or what I had become, so it was very easy to establish my why. Today I have made myself something that I can be proud of, but some days it is still difficult to tell myself I can, when I come face to face with difficult training. Sometimes you have to dig deep on your darker days but we ALL have a why!! Find it and hold onto it!!! Write it down to look at every day! Remind yourself hourly if needed! Don’t be afraid to establish multiple why(s) as you continue to grow and build up to who it is you want to be. Finding my why and embracing it has changed my life. Be all that you can be at all times and allow yourself room to make mistakes. Even through the hardest of days remind yourself to embrace the challenge, and the day God hands you. Most importantly, every time you fall be sure to pick yourself up, remind yourself why, and try it again!

Much love dragon ladies!! Stay positive and keep inspiring!! Now find your why:)!!
