VERIFICATION Field Verification: The pest inspector will conduct the initial field compliance inspection and provide documentation of discoveries and recommendations for correction to the homeowner. The homeowner or contractor will conduct the repairs and provide documentation to the Rater. The Rater will conduct field verification of the repairs. Documentation: The Rater will collect a pest inspection report. If appropriate, the Rater may request a report indicating that all Section One issues identified in the initial report have been corrected. INTENT To increase the durability of construction by mitigating possible sources of pest intrusion or attraction, notifying the homeowner of the possible intrusion, offering suggestions for improvement, and conducting measures to improve pest control in the home.
