Dance Intensive
Ages 7–18
Beginner, Intermediate,
and Advanced dancers
A 4-day, intensive training session designed
for dancers looking to get back in shape
before Fall session begins and older, more
experienced dancers who are interested in
auditioning for high/middle school Poms and
Orchesis teams or a dance performance/
competition company. Dancers are
separated by age and/or experience and
taught in separate rooms. Dancers not only
get technique classes in multi-disciplines,
but are also instructed in other aspects of
dance training, including nutrition, dance
history, anatomy, injury prevention, acting,
and choreography. Students will leave
this week feeling more prepared to start
intense activity in the school year, and more
informed on how to maintain their bodies
throughout the entire season. ns
