LEGO® Engineering for Little Angels
Ages 5–7
Children just love to ‘build and break’ and
that is how they build-on the storehouse of
their creative energy. Working with LEGO®
Education Kits, under guidance, they make
working models of simple machines and
explore some of the basic concepts of
engineering and science. They learn about
the working and application of levers,
pivots, pulleys, gears, axles, and wheels.
Hands-on activities create an understanding
of ‘how things work’, which leads to
developing an aptitude for engineering and
promotes STEM learning. The program
stimulates their creativity, provides a
supportive environment for its exploration,
and promotes social skills.
Children repeating this class make different
and more complex models. mh

LEGO® Robotics Engineering
with Multiple Themes
Age 7–12
The LEGO® Education WeDo™ Robotics
Construction Set is a dynamic tool to learn
robotics engineering and programming.
Students build robotic models featuring
different sensors and motors following
the interactive instructions on PC laptops.
They connect finished models to the PC
using a USB link, and then make programs
to have the robotic models perform in
different ways by snapping together graphic
programming blocks. Kids explore a series
of cross-curricular theme-based activities,
while developing their skills in science,
engineering, technology, and mathematics.
Each team of two has a laptop PC and
complete LEGO® Education Robotics
construction set with sensors and a motor
to work with. mh

3D Video Gaming and Computer Games
Age 9–12
Want to walk in the footsteps of Walt
Disney...the innovator in animation and
winner of seven Emmy Awards? Want to
create your own ‘Aladdin’ or a ‘Fantasia’ ?
Here is your opportunity to begin the journey.
Children use 3D animation techniques and
technology to turn their imagination into 3D
animated creations using an assortment
of characters, backgrounds, and special
effects. They embellish their creations by
adding sound effects and their choice of
music. They can carry home their work on
their flash drives to have a ‘Disney’ show at
home. Children work in pairs, consulting and
sharing thoughts and ideas, and problem
solving. Each pair gets a laptop PC to work
with in class. mh
