2.2.2.5.9.9 Find the inverse of a function

This wizard is used to calculate the inverse of a given invertible function.

It can be accessed by clicking on Wizard Button | Function | Find the
inverse of a function.

To find the inverse of a function:
First enter the function.
Press "Solve step" or "Solve all" button to see the solution process.

Make certain that you enter the function in functional notation. For example
you can enter f(x)=2x+3.

Remember that in order to see if a function is "invertible" (i.e. if it has an
inverse function), we can apply the "horizontal line test" which states that a
function is invertible if every horizontal line cuts the graph of the function in
exactly one point.
