it became evident that Jack and Sarah had zoned in on one
particular property as their first choice. It was a large twobedroom
apartment on the right side of the building and we
all agreed that it suited all their needs. However, there was one
problem. When I asked if they would like to buy it that day or at
least reserve it for a week, they went weak at the knees.
Jack and Sarah then decided to share a number of issues they
faced. Here are just a few:
• They had never sold a house before.
• They really wanted to sell first before they committed
to a purchase.
• They were extremely nervous about the whole process.
• They didn’t want to dip into their super or cash to place a
deposit on the apartment.
