Start at the Taunton Bay Gateway where travelers can take in the sight of seabirds swooping in the sky , lobster boats , and sailboats in the distance . Along the shoreline the byway passes through rolling hillsides , historic seaside villages , and working harbors . |
• Look for the colorful Kids Quest signs along the Byway . Each of the seven beautiful outdoor locations will engage children and their families in the region ’ s history , ecology and culture . |

Have your camera ready for the Frenchman Bay Scenic Turnout , offering spectacular views across the bay to Cadillac Mountain . The Prospect Harbor Lighthouse boasts a rich history , and is a not-tobe-missed view along the way .. Marking the end of the route , Prospect Harbor is a great place to stop for a lobster roll . |
