4. Start with 5 minutes a day and try to work up to 20 minutes a day. As you bring
yourself out of the meditation, remember to sit for two minutes to completely come
back from alpha state.
•
5. With consistent practice you will, over time, get more advanced in your
meditation. Your intentions will grow more complicated, you may want to combine
two names together. This would involve a "stitching process" whereby you create a
new hybridized name. This occurs in the following manner: take the first letter from
the first name with the first letter of the second name, the second letter of the first
name with the second letter of the second name, and the third letter of the first
name with the third letter of the second name. Repeat this new six-letter name as a
mantra over and over again as you would the three-letter name.
DECODING THE HOLY NAMES AND THEIR SUPERNAL MEANING

Before you begin this powerful meditation, it is important to understand how the
Hebrew prophets and rabbis that were steeped in Kabbalah, used this coded toolset
to slip into altered states of consciousness. The source for deriving the 72 Names of
God and the angel that is behind each name is derived by using a specific formula
for letter combinations that comes from the letters contained in Verses 19, 20, & 21
from Chapter 14 from Parashat Beshalach from the Book of Shemot (Exodus) from
the Torah. Each of these three verses contains 72 letters. Collectively they describe
the peak moments of the splitting of the Red Sea.

19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went
behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood
behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of
Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these:
so that the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moses stretched out his
hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all
that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

The formula for a three-letter combination is constructed in the following manner:
take the first letter from Verse 19 and then combine it with the last letter from Verse
20 and the first letter from Verse 21. The second three-letter combination is obtained
by taking the second letter from Verse 19, combining it with the second to last letter
from Verse 20, and the second letter from Verse 21? and so on. This process is
continued until a total of 72 three-letter combinations are formed. Each three-letter
combination is the name of a specific attribute of God as well as being the name of a
specific angel that represents that attribute of God.
•
The combination of these 72 names creates a 216-letter name of God, that is
commonly referred to as the Shemhamphorasch or "Shem ha-Mephorash". As
referenced in Exodus 23:20-21, it states:
