W.O,W. Radio's music department coordinator Ms. Persia Red has alot going for her. You would think picking Inde music from all generes would be a lot of work but add writing and performing live poetry, and jewelry making to the list of talents and you have one busy young woman. Sit with us as we talk to Ms. Red live for a one on one phone conversation and talk to the lady with many hats.

DM: Thank you so much for your time Ms. Red now lets get right into this so where are you from?

PR: (Giggles) You can say I’m from the DMV by way of Jamaica I was actually born on a plane over Jamaica on its way here…

DM: Woooooow lol that’s crazy so where were you raised in the DMV?

PR: I was actually raised all over PG County I’ve lived in places like Suitland, Greenbelt, Largo, and other places as well.

DM: How was your child hood did you come from a close-knit family?

PR: Actually yes I did, my mother worked all the time but my two aunts raised me so it was almost like I had three mothers. As a child I was like a nerd in school. I loved doing work and science and being and dealing with nature.

DM: Cool! So how did you get involved with WOW radio and how did the relationship manifest?

PR: Well my sister who is the Program Director was already involved with the station and because of my poetry people were taking it serious and encouraging me to go for it and she was the main one. She brought me in and since then I was head coordinator of the music review department .
