BRANDED MERCHANDISE
DON’TS
Don’t use the symbol without the logotype.
Don’t use the logotype without the symbol.
Don’t apply the Mediclinic logo to an item
where the manufacturer is the expert and well
known in their field. This is a Lamy pen and
should use the Lamy brand as shown below.
Don’t brand items that are unhealthy and
therefore oppose The Science of Care.
Lamy pen without Mediclinic branding is
correct. However, it is fine to apply our logo
to an everyday pen such as a standard biro
(see example on page 15.3).
The exceptions to this are:
– Small applications, that either cannot
display the entire logo or would not be
able to display it on one visual plane
without reducing the logo size too much
(e.g. a watch or a tie pin)
– Premium items that would be considered
non-corporate (e.g. slippers) can also use
the symbol only.
– When the symbol is used as a supergraphic
(see page 15.4) but even in these instances,
the full logo must also appear on the
application.
