A Note from the Editor .
Hello everyone and welcome to the fourth edition of our magazine . This issue focuses on compassion and how daughters of God are making an impact in their cities , communities , and regions , by serving with a ' heart of a servant ' - the Father ' s heart .
I want to take this time and extend our appreciation to Fashion & Compassion , located in Charlotte , N . C ., for graciously serving the communities affected by war , genocide , HIV / AIDS , and child sex trafficking , here in the United States and abroad .
As you read the pages to follow it is my hope and prayer , compassion will be ignited in your hearts as never before and you will be encouraged to be a light to those whose lives are filled with darkness .
I believe each of us carries a personal responsibility to the suffering of others . As the body of Christ , we are called to compassion and empowered to make a change - in our cities and regions .
I leave you with a quote by Edmund Burke : “ All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men [ mankind ] to do nothing .” [ Emphasis added ]
