Clean Eating
Written by Troy Wilkerson
Clean Eating? What exactly is clean eating or
eating clean? A conundrum, right? One of the most
vital things any and everyone should do, including
animals, is clean eating. Clean eating consist of
different genres. From meat eating, plant eating or
both, there are several ways to eat clean or at least
clean your eating. Let’s begin with the
conventional average American meal, which
consist of fruits, grains, vegetables, protein and
dairy. We will compare a clean meal to a dirty
meal:
Clean Meal: Non-GMO Organic Grilled chicken breast, steamed
broccoli, multi grain/ brown rice, dark cherries, almond milk.
Dirty Meal: Fried Chicken legs/wings, coleslaw, white (bleached) rice,
peaches in syrup, vitamin D milk.
As you can see, the cleaner meal consist of simple cooking process for
your food. It also consist of foods that are moderate to high in protein,
fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, calcium and minerals as well.
For the dirty meal: Cholesterol, sodium, chemicals you cannot
pronounce, bleach, high sugar content, pus, etc…
And I know, I know… Non GMO/ Organic food is expensive, yes I
know. But think of it like this, do you put regular 87 gas in a Rolls
Royce. If the answer is no, then why would you put dirty/junk food in
your body. Yes it’s expensive but it’s clean and will give you optimum
energy and wellness.
But if that is over the budget, conventional foods made into clean
dishes can impact your body in a positive way as well.
