Where do you guys practice at? Here there and everywhere :-)! Presently we practice in Stourbridge at a friend's rehearsal studio which is great and local to (most of) us. What got you into music, and what are your influences? We have all been musicians and interested in music for as long as we remember. Our influences are very sparse, from Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Paradise Lost, to Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie and more. Our influences are very broad. What sacrifices have you had to make to do what you love? When you do what you love; there are no sacrifices to be made. Who did you get your musical talent from? I can only speak for myself (Hannah) but this comes from my family, who are all big music fans, and possibly my granddad who was a great singer in a choir, and my Nan who also still has a great voice. How did you come up with the name of the band? We wanted a name which we felt encapsulated the essence of the band, Winter Storm was one of the first choices and it seemed to stick. Where can people find out more about the band? www.winter-storm.com / www.facebook.com/winterstormuk are our main two sites we use regularly where you can keep up to date with shows, releases, merchandise and more! What are your goals for the future? Where do you hope to be in 2 years? We are soon to release our second album, Within The Frozen Design, and we have our album launch show 16th November 2013 at Wolverhampton's slade rooms. We are hoping to make this a very special night and in the future we wish to push ourselves further with bigger tour supports, European dates and would love to be a part of metal female voices festival in Belgium. What recording studio do you use? For our second album we worked with Alex Cooper (Hanging Doll) at Arkham Recording studios which is in Madhouse Rehearsal Studios in Birmingham, UK.
