What immediately stands out and is new for
us: Euro Divers have made their diving cen-
tre bigger and more comfortable. Another
premiere for us is the time of the year we are
travelling – this time we are not here in the
pre- or main season, but in the off-season
in the middle of October. Shortly before they
close the shops during the winter season
until Easter. Seven months without a day off
are behind the dive centre managers Jan and
Martine. The place is still humming and as al-

ways the two have a big grin on their cheeks,
just like the Spanish hotel owners Manuel
and Micha. A warm welcome is always gua-
ranteed here. Nice to know: the laughter is
contagious, infectious, medically a top

Cala Joncols has moulted, as you will notice
soon. The former diving hotel was refined,
not only regarding the 38 rooms. Not at all
chic or aloof, but with a special touch by
many nice details. Very trendy and following
ecological paths, too: in the garden there are
a lot of things growing that the cook conjures
