La Emboscada Drop off , rising up to three metres of depth ; lots of fish at he reef ‘ s edge and on top of the reef . Huge comon dentex , black bream , sand steenbrass , parrot fish , moray eels , cuttlefish . Often swarms of sardines ( photo onm the right ), hunting jackfish . On the sandy bottom sometimes giant butterfly ray .

Barranco The gorge ( so the translation of the name ) at the Castillo Reef , no doubt , is a big fish territory . Everything thats larger than one metre has passed that area . From giant stingrays to deep-sea sharks to dolphins , anything is possible . Even a fin whale was seen here . But : Of course there is no guarantee for such experiences . Groupers ( photo right ), however , are here for sure .

Tesoro Negro Also this place is located withinin the long Salinas reef . It is about 15 minutes by boat from the base . On the up to 36 metres deep sandy bottom in front of the main reef are several gigantic rocks . The spot is known for its dark wall with large overhangs . Here grow black corals and yellow colonial anemones ( right ), sponges and club tipped anemones . On the sandy bottom often stingrays .
