La Emboscada Steep wall that rises up to three metres ; a lot of fish along the reef edge and lively reef top . jacks , dentex , Atlantic parrotfish , moray eels , cuttlefish . Often large schools of sardines , hunting white trevallies . Sometimes butterfly rays on the sandy bottom . Topspot !

Barranco The gorge ( the literal translation of the name ) at Castillo Reef is clearly a big fish area . Anything bigger in size than one metre has been seen here . From giant stingrays to deep-sea sharks and dolphins , anything is possible . Even a fin whale has been spotted here . But of course there is no guarantee of such encounters . groupers , on the other hand , are almost certain .

Tesoro Negro This site is also located on the long Salinas Reef . It is about 15 minutes by boat from the diving centre . There are several gigantic rocks on the sandy bottom in front of the main reef , which is up to 36 metres deep . The spot is known for its dark wall with large overhangs . Black corals , Macaronesia cluster anemones , sponges and club-tipped anemones grow here .
