diving7seas farm on the coast near Caleta is something special . Blood-red tree corals with white polyps grow close to the bottom on the outer wall of a gigantic rock in front of the fringing reef . Here it is always important to keep enough air for the final phase of the dive . Not only for safety reasons , but also because it can never be ruled out that an angel shark will be snoozing on the bottom near the mooring .
And then there is a „ shore dive “ at Deep Blue Diving , right outside the base door . It really couldn ‘ t be any shorter : walk down the gangway to the training pool , dive down and take the underwater exit to the house reef . Angel sharks , dogfish , stingrays and trembling rays , tiny creatures like nudibranchs , maybe a small blue-spotted sea hare , seahorses , scorpionfish – there is a lot possible here ( although never all at the same time ).
So everyone be warned : the diving area around Caleta de Fuste is highly addictive ! Just ask the repeaters .
