Best Dive Sites Off Corralejo
Bajòn del Rio Relatively shallow , yet probably the top dive site in the north . Wonderfully bizarre rock formations that are a great photo backdrop in themselves . Shrimps , crabs and lobsters hide in crevices and niches ; - Nudibranchs can be seen as well as groupers . Lots of bream , groups of red parrotfish , hordes of white trevallies and hunting barracudas . Good chances of encounters with angel sharks .
• depth : 16 m , visibility : 20 – 30 m , current : none to moderate , difficulty : easy to moderate
El Faro Rocky wall at the Martiño lighthouse off the north-eastern tip of Isla de Lobos . Descent on the anchor line down to 25 metres . Not suitable for beginners due to the depth . Massive rocks lie in front of the reef with canyons and crevices . Angel sharks and adult rays can be seen from time to time . Mackerel , large barracudas and large groupers can almost always be seen .

El Puente Just a five-minute boat ride from the harbour . Lava formations form the famous bridge under which you can simply dive through . There are always lots of white trevallies , parrotfish , goatfish and common pandoras at this dive site . There are often rays at the bottom . Barracudas frequently stop by in search of prey .
