The trained diver‘s eye will also discover
some cleaning stations at the house reef,
which stretches at different distances to the
shore around the whole island.
Places like the Canyon with its narrow ca-
nyon, Wadu Caves with soft coral overgrown
overhangs, the round Potato Reef with a
small wreck and Gulhi Outside (like many
other spots) are classic reef dives. There are
other Diverland Embudu dive sites besides
the Embudu Express, where big animals play
the main role. And this by no means means
means barracudas or turtles.
If you really want a bit more, the Diverland
crew recommends a big trip with a fast boat
to the big fish with the slow movements: we
are talking about whale sharks. As in many
places where the largest fish in the world can
be found, snorkeling is the act of the hour.
