C O N T I N E D: T H E Q U I E T T R A N S F O R M A T I O N
Q: How has your journey toward healing and wholeness impacted the way you show up for your daughters— and what do you hope they carry forward from watching you grow?
A: I’ m more present, more patient, and more honest— not just about the wins, but about the work. They’ ve seen me cry, set boundaries, and choose myself without guilt. And I think that’ s powerful. I used to think being a good mom meant sacrificing everything. Now I know it means modeling wholeness. If nothing else, I hope they carry forward the understanding that strength and softness can coexist— and that they never have to shrink to be loved.
Q: You stepped away from social media for 2½ years— what did silence and digital disconnection teach you?
A: I had made myself overly accessible for so many years. I was over it. Burned out. Stepping away taught me that my worth isn’ t tied to visibility. It also taught me something else: not everyone deserves access to me.
That season in the dark was sacred. I loved it there. It was intimate. Quiet. Holy. That’ s where the real growth happened— not in front of an audience, but in the soil. Roots, not likes.
Q: This is your debut. What can readers expect from your new wellness business?
A: Expect transformation. This isn’ t just about weight loss or food plans. I want to guide women into deep alignment— physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I’ m building a space that holds women in their becoming— without judgment, without rush, and with truth.
Q: If you could whisper to the woman you were 3 years ago, what would you say?
A: Sis, your life is going to be great! Remember Jeremiah 29:11-13,“ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,“ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Q: What’ s one message you want every woman reading this to take to heart today?
A: You are not too far gone. You are not too late. Healing is still available to you— even if it’ s been years, even if you’ ve tried before, even if no one else sees the effort it’ s taking. You don’ t have to hustle for your worth or earn your healing. God already calls you worthy. But you do have to take the first step. Start where you are, with what you have, and let grace meet you in motion. Healing begins the moment you choose it— and take action toward it.
