GROWING UP WITH
GOD
Growing up, it’ s a really funny thing. It comes with a lot of new feelings, like fear of what the future holds. Focusing on these fears can often lead to anxiety! But if I’ ve learned( and still learning) any lessons it’ s don’ t sit in those uncomfortable feelings because those feelings will not move you forward. When you give your fears and anxieties to God, things are a whole lot easier. You’ re still going to have those feelings, but when you give yourself to Jesus, it will be easier to not sit in those negative feelings. Trust me, it ' s a journey, but it’ s a journey worth taking.
This Fall, I ' m going to the 9th grade and growing up is not easy! Middle school was great and challenging all at the same time. But I have faith that God will do amazing things in me during my high school years. I’ m nervous but excited to see all that He has in store for me to learn and experience.

So, while growing up is scary and weird, the great thing is that with Jesus growing up is better. Yes, you’ ll still have fear, anxiety, anger and other emotions. Mark 7:8 NLT says,“ for you ignore God’ s Law and substitute your own tradition.” What I take from this verse is, if you try to grow or do things your way, it’ s not going to be the best thing. But when you do things God’ s way you’ ll see that it’ s better that way. So, grow and live this scary and sometimes hard life, and give it all to God. The hard things will be a little easier. The scary things will not be as scary. You will have Godly fun and great experiences. So, keep growing and moving forward. I’ m nervous but excited about starting High School but I know God has me. God Is Good! Amen!
