The state annual conference is the largest fundraiser of the year for NUCA of Florida and will be held at the luxurious Sarasota Ritz Carlton on July 20-22 . Sponsorships and attendees are not only appreciated but needed . This conference is an opportunity to learn more about industry trends , market conditions , overcoming workforce challenges , dealing with material shortages and lead times , networking , and seeing firsthand the latest in underground utility products from our vendors and exhibitors . Come hear Vince Hafeli , President of Ajax , share tips on mental health promotion and suicide prevention in construction and learn insights on how to stay in compliance and avoid OSHA penalties from Alan McMillan , former Deputy Secretary at OSHA . Most importantly however , the Annual Conference will be an opportunity for you , our members , to continue to positively impact our industry and raise money to affect the laws that regulate it .
My challenge to all who are reading this remains from last year , if you have never been , please come see how we can improve the industry and your business directly ; if you have attended , I hope to see you there again , and lastly , to all who are going , make it a goal to bring at least one member who has never attended .
