Now, I am in my “dream job,” representing
predominantly underground utility contractors
and vertical and trade contractors, too.
What was your first job?
Te Young: My first job was teaching piano
at an after-school program in Tallahassee,
Florida, when I was a freshman at Florida
State.
Grill master or reservations?
Te Young: Grill master.
What is your favorite movie?
Te Young: Anything from the world of The
Avengers, Lord of the Rings, Jason Bourne,
Harry Potter or Star Wars.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of
work?
Te Young: I enjoy working out, playing tennis,
playing piano, and throwing corn hole bags
(by ACA, ACO, or ACL official rules, NOT by
Ocean Reef Club’s made-up rules for NUCA
of South Florida’s dolphin fishing tournament
:-)).
What is your favorite book?
Te Young: The Bible.
Do you have any pets?
Te Young: Do we have any pets!? We have
two cats, a cockatiel, a rabbit (that thankfully
goes to college with my oldest daughter),
and since that apparently wasn’t enough, I
got Laura a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy for
Christmas this year.
What is the first concert you attended?
Te Young: The Police, Synchronicity Tour,
Tallahassee, 31 October 1983.
What is the secret to your success?
Te Young: Discipline.
What is the one thing about you no one
would guess?
Te Young: I did not graduate from high
school.
What is your favorite college or pro team?
Te Young: It’s a tie between Florida State
Seminoles (college) and Rafael Nadal (pro).
What was the first car you drove?
Te Young: 1982 Datsun 280ZX.
