BILL LEE
Briefly tell us about your
professional background.
Lee: My name is Bill Lee. I’m
president of Utility Service
Company, Inc. in Gulf Breeze,
Florida. We are a small familyowned
underground utility
contracting company installing
water, sanitary sewer, natural gas
and drainage systems. My Father
started the company as a parttime
business in the late 80’s and I
worked with him on the weekends
carrying water service material and
tools since I was 14 years old.
Why you are in the underground
utility business and how did you get
started?
Lee: When I got out of Junior
College I continued working with
the Company and in my midtwenties
I figured out that I really
wanted to fish but I knew that
construction was the better option
and I was pretty good at my job. I’m
now a lot older and wiser and I did
make the right decision.
What is your favorite travel
location?
Lee: My favorite travel location is
Florida and the Florida Keys. I also
enjoy the South Carolina coast and
trips we make out west to Colorado
and Montana.
