Management. Before that I graduated high
school from The Benjamin School in North
Palm Beach, Florida.
What is your favorite travel location?
Eakins: It’s a toss-up between Costa Rica
(Fishing, zip- lining and riding ATVs) or our
cabin on the lake in the Adirondacks located
in Upstate New York (relaxing, seeing family
and riding ATVs).
Grill master or reservations?
Eakins: Monday-Friday Reservations all the
way, but Saturday and Sunday needs to be
with friends and family grilling and hanging
out.
What is your favorite movie?
Eakins: Step Brothers has to be my all-
time favorite. It seems like every time I
come across it on TV I have to watch it, and
then watch it again on Netflix without the
commercials. No matter how many times I
watch it, it still makes me laugh.
Do you have any “guilty pleasure” TV Shows?
Eakins: I am sucker for a good series with
lots of action a good story line. My favorites
are Blue Bloods, Ozark, Game of Thrones,
Bloodline and Yellowstone.
Do you have any pets?
Eakins: We currently have 2 Dogs, 6 Cats, and
2 horses. We also board another 12 horses
that we feel are a part of our family. I am sure
we will add a few more species and numbers
as baby Sadie gets older.
What is the secret to your success?
Eakins: Success or no success, I believe that
you have to be willing to pick up the slack,
always try to improve everything, never ask
someone to do something you aren’t willing
to do yourself and quitting time is when you
get done, not a certain number on the clock.
What is the one thing about you no one
would guess?
Eakins: I would love the opportunity to go
back to being an operating foreman with a
fun and talented crew tackling tough jobs and
seeing how much you could get done in a
day.
Campfire or fireplace?
Eakins: I would have to go with a camp fire,
nothing beats the great outdoors with friends
and family. Let’s not forget about the s’mores
and easier cleanup.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of
work?
Eakins: I have a lot of interests but not
enough time for hobbies, they would include
Date night with my wife Amanda, Sporting
Clays, and of course spending as much time
as I can with our adorable little baby girl
Sadie.
