PROGRAM POLICIES PROGRAM POLICIES ABSENCE DUE TO VACATION, ILLNESS OR INCLEMENT WEATHER No tuition reductions will be made for absence due to personal vacation, illness or inclement weather. WITHDRAWING FROM THE PROGRAM Parents/Guardians are required to give a written notice two weeks prior to the first of the month. The written notice must be submitted to the Beaver Lake Center. If a written notice is not received, May’s tuition will not be refunded. No partial refunds will be given if the student does not attend the full month. Call 651-702-8411. LATE TUITION CHARGES It is important that tuition be paid on time. Late fees will be assessed each week for payments made after the due date. Consistent late pay- ments may result in termination.  7 days late: $10 late fee is charged.  14 days late: Additional $10 late fee is charged ($20 total).  If the tuition is not paid by the end of the 15th day after being due, your child will be released from our preschool program. LATE PICK UP POLICY If you are 10 minutes late to pick up your child, or if your child receives transportation and no one is home to receive the child, and they are brought back to school, a late fee will be assessed.  First Incident: Parent is given a warning and reminded of our late pick up policy.  Second Incident: Parent is given a copy of our late pick up policy and given an invoice for $20.00 for the first 10 minutes and $1.00 minute thereafter.  Third Incident: Parent is given a copy of our late pick up policy and given an invoice for $30.00 for the first 10 minutes and $1.00 minute thereafter and a notice from the Early Childhood Family Programs Supervisor informing the parent of district practices and possible consequences.  Any subsequent incidents, you will be asked to meet with administration. If no one picks the child up at the dismissal time of the class, parents will be called at work and/or home. If parents cannot be reached, persons authorized on the emergency card will be called to pick up the child. If the staff cannot reach anyone after 45 minutes, and does not hear from the adult responsible for the child, the police will be notified. Consistently being late for pick-up may result in termination from the program. STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP Drop off and pick up procedures will be explained by your child’s teacher at the beginning of the school year. If you are picking up your child early for any reason, please stop in the office to sign them out. On occasion, there will be substitute teachers in your child’s classroom. Be prepared to show ID at all times. 4
