PROGRAM POLICIES
ABSENCE DUE TO VACATION, ILLNESS OR INCLEMENT WEATHER
No tuition reductions will be made for absence due to personal
vacation, illness or inclement weather.
WITHDRAWING FROM THE PROGRAM
Parents/Guardians are required to give a written notice two weeks prior
to the first of the month. The written notice must be submitted to the
Beaver Lake Center. If a written notice is not received, May’s tuition will
not be refunded. No partial refunds will be given if the student does not
attend the full month. Call 651-702-8411.
LATE TUITION CHARGES
It is important that tuition be paid on time. Late fees will be assessed
each week for payments made after the due date. Consistent late pay-
ments may result in termination.
7 days late: $10 late fee is charged.
14 days late: Additional $10 late fee is charged ($20 total).
If the tuition is not paid by the end of the 15th day after being due, your
child will be released from our preschool program.
LATE PICK UP POLICY
If you are 10 minutes late to pick up your child, or if your child receives
transportation and no one is home to receive the child, and they are brought
back to school, a late fee will be assessed.
First Incident: Parent is given a warning and reminded of our late pick up
policy.
Second Incident: Parent is given a copy of our late pick up policy and given
an invoice for $20.00 for the first 10 minutes and $1.00 minute thereafter.
Third Incident: Parent is given a copy of our late pick up policy and given an
invoice for $30.00 for the first 10 minutes and $1.00 minute thereafter and
a notice from the Early Childhood Family Programs Supervisor informing the
parent of district practices and possible consequences.
Any subsequent incidents, you will be asked to meet with administration.
If no one picks the child up at the dismissal time of the class, parents will
be called at work and/or home. If parents cannot be reached, persons
authorized on the emergency card will be called to pick up the child. If the
staff cannot reach anyone after 45 minutes, and does not hear from the
adult responsible for the child, the police will be notified. Consistently
being late for pick-up may result in termination from the program.
STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP
Drop off and pick up procedures will be explained by your child’s teacher at
the beginning of the school year. If you are picking up your child early for
any reason, please stop in the office to sign them out. On occasion, there
will be substitute teachers in your child’s classroom. Be prepared to show ID
at all times.
