Snook's Dream Cars

The Allen County Museum in the city of Lima is an excellent Museum. Literally a little something for everyone including, trains, doll houses, Ohio history, Macdonell house, the John Dillinger jail & exhibit, a newly renovated 100-year-old Noah’s Ark animated display, model trains, and the children’s garden, etc. Give yourself about two hours to enjoy. This next museum I’ve been too and it was well put together, and that is the Armstrong Air & Space Museum in the city of Wapakoneta. Explore outer space at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum named after the first man who walked on the moon, Neil Armstrong. The museum has a collection of initial space devices which were used in the very first space missions. There are several exhibits that will give detailed information about life in outer space. Children would love to visit the museum as there are a couple of interactive displays that will make them understand air and space crafts, plus there is a real moon rock there on display, off of exit 111.

Now, in the city of Jackson Center is Airstream Factory Terraport. Ever wonder how anAirstream is made? Come see how they craft every piece of the Airstream Travel Trailers, and how they really do put every one of those rivets in by hand.

guided tour of the historic buildings and seasonal exhibits. The Troy Historic Village is open to the public year-round with a cost of $7.00 or less, with events and classes happening here, off of exit 67.

Now, don’t forget Detroit, which has many things to do there like the Motown Museum, Belle Isle, FREE Detroit Historical Museum, Detroit Institute of Arts (FREE to Wayne County residents), Detroit Science Center with IMAX theater, Charles H Wright Museum of African American History, FREE Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and more, off of Interstate 75.

Now, as you forge further south into Ohio, you'll encounter more roadside fun, like Snook's Dream Cars in the city of Bowling Green, which is 8 dollars or less. The showroom is stocked with vintage automobiles and memorabilia set against backdrops like a 1940s Texaco gas station, a 1930s general store, and a 1960s racetrack. You'll find coupés to roadsters from classic manufacturers, including Packard, Pontiac, Alfa Romeo, and Lotus, off of exit 181.
