If you want to just take it easy and relax then check out Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre raised its first curtain on March 18, 2010 and has since been presenting world class performances to almost 2 million audience members from across Ireland and the world. With a diverse repertoire of genres ranging from musicals to folk concerts and from opera to ballet, coming to the theatre allows you an escape.
Now, you can get to a Broadway or West End theatre, Russian ballet, or German opera, all from just a few minutes away from home if you are a local. Here is a place to relax and enjoy the performance while taking in the magnificent views of Grand Canal Basin, food, and friends. See websites for current productions, which are all great.
Other theatres here in town are the Gaiety Theatre, 3Arena, Abbey Theatre, 3Olympia Theatre, Bewley's Lunchtime Theatre, Smock Alley Theatre 1662, Glass Mask Theatre, plus many more in town.
Lastly, they have so much to see and do here that cannot all be listed, but if you like bus tours they have a few, some of which are day trips to other parts of Ireland, and local sightseeing tours. They also have a hop-on-hop-off bus that drops you off at many different stops to really explore the city. Then there is also sightseeing boat rides here too. Some people take the DART commuter train to get around, having many stops inside and outside the city. And the food here is amazing with so many choices that a guide will list, and accommodations are for all budgets. So, I hope you consider visiting this great country and its wonderful people.

Now, here is something that would interest me, and that is the Dublin Zoo. One of the world's oldest zoos, Dublin Zoo is also modern in design and houses more than 600 animals. It has been redesigned in recent years to be a safe
man’s life growing up in Medieval Dublin. Take a 96 step climb up the original medieval tower of St. Michael for spectacular views. The cost is 15 Euro’s or less.
Here is another museum called National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History. Decorative Arts & History is home to a wide range of objects, which include weaponry, furniture, silver, ceramics, and glassware; as well as examples of folk life and costume. This is free admission!
