its landscape is completely different. There are many reasons to visit Bryce Canyon, but one of the main attractions is its unique rock formations, especially the hoodoos and natural amphitheater views that seem almost unreal.
There are three campgrounds in Bryce Canyon, and the park also offers a lodge and a motel, both of which are very nice and reasonably priced. The National Park Service operates one main restaurant inside the park, and there are also additional dining options within about a twenty-minute drive from the park area.
The next national park on the Grand Circle is Capitol Reef National Park, which is the fourth park in the circle. Capitol Reef National Park, the park itself is quite large, but the area most people see is only a small portion of it.
The easiest section of the park to access is an area known as Fruita, a historic settlement town located next to the river. Another commonly visited area in Capitol Reef is the scenic drive that extends out of Fruita. This road runs parallel to massive canyon walls, making it ideal for photography and hiking. Now, with the river nearby, it is a perfect area for an orchard. In the National Park, they grow apricots and other fruits for visitors to enjoy. The orchards are open for self-picking, and when the fruit is in season, it costs only about one dollar per pound, making it perfect for grabbing a fresh snack.
The next national park on the Grand Circle is Canyonlands National Park, which is the fifth park in the circle. Canyonlands offers a wide range of things to see and do. There are many miles of scenic driving throughout the park, with some roads paved and others requiring a four-wheel-drive vehicle. There are also many opportunities for hiking and biking across the different districts of the park.
There are two National Park–run campgrounds that are first come, first served, with no hookups or additional amenities. The closest areas for lodging and dining are Moab on the north side and Monticello on the south side.

One area of the park that is visited much less often is Cathedral Valley. This section can only be accessed with a high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicle, which keeps it more remote and less traveled. There is one campground near Fruita, which offers only minimal RV hookups.
