that it was not good for man to be alone, He realized that even He, being God, was not enough to bring man joy and happiness. It is a fact that in a healthy, wholesome, happy married couples live longer and feel more content. They do not suffer with depression or anxiety as much as unmarried people. You are not lonely or bothered with being alone, and the best part of course is being intimate with someone you love, trust, and honor.
It is a reason why the relationship between Jesus and mankind is likened onto marriage. Jesus is called the groom and the church (body of Christ) is called the bride (Ephesians 5: 27). Certainly, God does not want us to be in a relationship with Him, if we are not free to do so. Serving God comes from freedom, and so should being married. If you are feeling
or experiencing anything other than what I said, then maybe you married the wrong person or you never really understood the whole concept of marriage. Unfortunately, that is the case for many couples. But do not despair, there is hope. I recall going to a wedding and the pastor who officiated the wedding made a profound statement that I will never forget.
